I’m a ceramicist drawing influence from the textures and hues I experience running in the fells of northern England.
Turning the intensity of my past life in skateboarding to trail running and ceramics, the fells became a new source of inspiration and the studio a powerful outlet – as much a necessity for my own grounding as a love of the craft.
I want everyone to find the same peace these places bring me - that’s what I try to pass on in my ceramic work.
Uniformity is never intended. I make simple forms free of expectation. From the fells to the wheel, and hopefully to the home.
